Welcome to The Golden Dog! We are a family owned business specializing in professional care of your pets! Whether you are going out of town and need boarding or simply some obedience training, we are here to service you!

I started this business in Spring of 2019, but have been in the "dog world" since 2014. Our family of five includes myself, Sydney, my hardworking husband, Kevin, our handsome son, Weston, and our 3 dogs, Aspen, Dash and Indy.

I have been a vet assistant, a kennel leader at a local rescue and boarding center and a head dog trainer. I graduated from National K9 School for Dog Trainers in 2015.

About Us

Hi, I’m Brooke! I have two pups at home Remi (Maltipoo) and Ivy (Dalmatian) they are both a blast! I have been working at The Golden Dog since January of 2023 and have loved my time here! I have been working with animals since 2021 and was raised with dogs always by my side. I am working as a kennel assistant and an assistant trainer. I can personally say one of the many reasons why I enjoy working at The Golden Dog is being able to see the shy dogs stay in our care and by the end of their stay they are a bundle of fun and bust out of their shell. It is so exciting getting to see dogs show their true personality and warm up to us. When dropping off your pups, just know they are in great care! Everyone working here has a big spot in their hearts for animals and it shows in their work 100%.

TRAINING

BOARDING

We offer a variety of training services, starting with the Golden Puppy Plan for pups 8-16 weeks. Once they've hit 16 weeks, they can start their "adult" training.

We specialize in the board and train programs, but also offer group classes as well. We work with a variety of puppy behaviors, from the happy-go-lucky to the anxious or aggressive.

Price depends on which program fits you.

A home away from home! At the Golden Dog, we take care of dogs when their owners are on vacation, or are unable to take care of them during a certain time. My facility has nice kennel runs with some outside kennel time, it is heated in the winter, and air conditioned in the summer.

Price - $35/day

*Same household dogs can room together overnight for an additional $20/dog

Looking for a safe and fun environment for your furry friend while you're at work? Our doggie daycare service offers just that! Our experienced staff provides top-notch care for your dog, with plenty of playtime, exercise and socialization opportunities to keep your pup happy all day long!
